Building a home

In 1999 we acquired this farm, which had been abandoned for more than 2 years. It looked very different from what it is today, but it always kept the serenity and peace of the countryside.

On our first visit we met a skinny dog. She was in rather bad condition but was clearly bonded to the farm. La Pepa, as we called her, survived the lonely years eating fruit, nuts and probably some of the neighbors’ hens. She stayed among us for 10 years until the very end of her life showing every day her affection to us and the place we all called home.

Wood, a noble material

Wood provides many benefits. It wood prevent the accumulation of static electricity and absorbs the environmental noise making houses more comfortable places to stay in and also insulate the houses from the outside climate conditions making houses more energy efficient and therefore friendlier with the environment.

Taking into account those facts, we decided to use natural wood as the main construction material in order to provide our guests with a real harmonic enviroment that will make the stay an unforgettable experience.
